I bought
this product mainly for the Wii remote. I had seen reviews on Amazon
for just the remote, and some people said they got knock-offs. I
figured with Wii Play, the remote had to be genuine. And at this price,
it is like getting the game for free. Now for the games - a few of
them are fun. We're new at Wii, and we have three kids, two of them
just under 5. They love the shooting gallery and the Find Mii games,
and can play them with a little help. The other games are okay; our 9
year old seems to enjoy them.

Quality, lacks Netflix
Overall I
am very satisfied with my purchase. Very easy to use and setup. I did
have a problem with not getting 1080p quality picture but that turned
out to be a bad HDMI cable (don't ever let anyone tell you all HDMI
cables are equal, I used to belive that).
Rear speakers work and sound great.
The only thing that keeps it from getting five stars with me is it's
lack of streaming capability with the internet (Netflix, Pandora radio,
etc...). So if that is not an issue with you.. then 5 stars. But
overall happy.

This thing
has all the bells and whistles of the 60gb except it doesn't let you use
optional memory cards which is unfortuante if your hd space gets low
and it's not backward compatible but I have a ps2 for ps2 games. I'm
having to replace my 60gb ps3 because someone broke in my house and
stole mine. I have quite a few ps3 games and the sims 3 ps3 version is
coming out October 26th which is one reason I have to replace my system.
The sims 3 console versions have everything the pc version does and
more. I'm a sims nut so I have to replace my ps3. I also have the sims 3
on pc. One game I do recommend on the PS3 is Batman Arkham. That game
is incredible and I miss not being able to play it since my ps3 got
stolen.

problem is that I can't play PS2 games but with system updates that's
bound to be on the horizon so if you want three generations of a game

far, quite an impressive machine
I
bought this machine a couple of weeks ago. It is an upgrade for me from
a VERY basic Brother machine. I bought mine at a sewing machine store;
actually cheaper than Amazon and I get their expertise/service.
One major feature I was looking for in my new machine is speed
control. I am teaching my daughter to sew; this machine can be set to
sew very very ssssslllloooww. Great when trying to teach a nine year
old. Threading is pretty simple; there is a nifty automatic needle
threader. I'm using it but threading a machine needle was never a big
deal for me. I also like the automatic needle up feature. On every
machine I ever used previously, I had to turn the wheel when done sewing
a line to raise the needle. This machine does it automatically.
This Brother makes a very nice buttonhole; not as nice perhaps as a
machine twice its price but still, just fine. It has this neat
buttonhole foot in which you put your desired button in the back and it
uses that button to automatically make the proper sized buttonhole. All
in one step. This is WAY better than my old machine.
The bobbin is a top-drop-in. No more bringing up the loop, just put
in in and sew.
One feature I've yet to use is a front stop/go control button. I
guess that if you didn't want to or couldn't use a foot pedal you could
use this button instead. I can see it being nice for buttonholes; you
just position your fabric, push the "go" button, and it makes all the
side of the buttonhole and stops automatically.
This machine trys to make things oops-proof. If you've ever jambed
your machine because you started sewing with the presser foot up, well,
that can't happen with this machine. If things aren't "right", it will
give you an error beep.
Another nice feature is that the machine automatically sets an
"ideal" stitch length/width. You can overide it but for the most part,
the defalt is perfect, especially with the decorative stitches.
There are several decorative stiches; I haven't quite figured out
the best way to put them to use but that's just my own lack of
creativity.
One last nice feature is a built-in foot holder. In front of the
free-arm is a flip-down compartment that has molded, labeled spots for
all your feet. It comes with a standard foot, zipper foot, blind hem
stitch foot, decorative stitching foot, overlock foot, button attacher
foot, and buttonhole foot. Also in the compartment is a molded space
for a seam ripper and 4 bobbins (included). I've found it nice to have
all these feet in one spot. I have a couple specialty feet from my old
Brother machine and they fit and work just fine on my new one. An added
plus.
One note; this machine takes bobbins that are a bit thicker than
older ones. Buy a bunch of new ones; they say old ones won't work.
All in all, I'm very happy. I'm glad I went with this model and
would buy again.
***edited to add: my one gripe about this machine is that the built
in lights are lacking. My old machine put out quite a lot of light;
this one is MUCH dimmer.

What
can I say? It gives me Confidence!
The
only other machine I used before this one was my mom's old (1970s era)
Singer Stylist. My goodness is this an upgrade! I was able to find it
for an amazing deal somewhere other than Amazon, though I haven't seen
that good of a price but on a used floor model since. You will not be
disappointed with this machine. It powers through multiple layers, the
see-through bobbin case is quite helpful for knowing when you're running
low on the bobbin thread, and It is very intuitive and easy to use. I
haven't had any troubles with it(I've had it for a year and a half.)
Bottom line: You'll love it!

I
probably shouldn't review this machine after only the first couple days,
but what a nice machine. I don't think it's all that heavy. The
threading has simplified since the last time I had a sewing machine, and
I got the little needle threader to work. I have a problem that I'm
left handed. It's difficult for me to use the needle threader and even
more difficult to change the needle.
The video helped a lot. Too bad they didn't do a short segment on
maintenance. There's not that much to maintain. My first project
involved sewing two quilt thicknesses together. The outer fabric was a
smooth cotton, so the upper piece pushed a little out of alignment from
the lower piece. Then when I did the french seam second pass, things
realigned themselves.
I ordered the combo with the carrying case. Walmart has the same
case for 2/3 the cost.

have three other sewing machines, but wanted to get a machine that
embroiders. Something with all the basic sewing stitches so I don't
need to switch back & forth. I did a lot of research and was
leaning towards Singer because of an infomercial (Futura or the
SES1000), but since I already have two Brother machines that are great
workhorses, I went with the SE350.
RECOMMENDATION: When you get
your machine, spend a couple hours reading the manual, watching the
DVD, trying the different stitch options, do some test embroidery, etc.
Even though I have Brother machines, this one threads a bit differently
and I could see someone who tries to plug & go getting frustrated.
I
love the bells & whistles that are new to me because I've been
using a 29 year old machine until now. The auto thread cutter is great
(press a button and it cuts the thread when you're done sewing). The
start/stop button was a breeze to learn (no need to use a foot pedal,
although one is included if you want to). The LCD touch screen is
WONDERFUL. No more messing with stitch width/length dials to figure out
the best stitch. This machine has them programmed in and you only need
to make changes if you want to tweak something. Embroidery is
surprisingly easy. Just be sure to use stabilizer and good thread.
I
bought mine on Overstock - they have them refurbished for $309, with
the same warranty, and shipping is only $2.95 (but you can sometimes
get a free shipping coupon off the internet). With the money I saved,
I'm buying the PED Basic software from Amazon that will let me download
more embroidery designs.
All in all, this is a great machine and I'm looking forward to creating lots of beautiful new projects.

was using a 30 year old klunker of a sewing machine to make sure I
liked the hobby before I bought one of my own. Well, I ended up liking
sewing a lot, so instead of fighting with the old machine that kept
skipping, making mistakes, and the light cord wouldn't stay connected,
I just bought a new one and have been overly thrilled ever since.
-This machine looks attractive
-Sews through thick fabric very well
-Has a decent light (though more light could never hurt)!
-Comes with a light duty dust cover
-Has 'quilting features' such as the huge expandable deck which is convenient.
-I
really LOVE the see-thru bobbin area (I had no clue how much that would
be a life saver to check if you're running low or to see if there's a
jam).
-The stitch functions are fun to use and varied.
-The
numbered threading system does help me get it done quickly. Though,
there is a bit of a learning curve. Took me a few weeks to really
understand it.
-Automatic bobbin winding is a snap!
-Relatively quiet my husband said, and I agree.
Things that could be improved or are a little confusing to me, even after reading manual:
-I still don't understand the automatic needle threader so I just thread by hand.
-The stitch selector wheel confuses me at times as to what I'm selecting.
-The stitch width and stith length dials could be labeled with words to make it effortless.
-Cord for foot pedal could be longer.
-Foot
pedal could use some 'gentle' settings. It seems to want to go 0-60mph
very quickly when I just want to start out stitching slowly.
So
all in all, a VAST improvement for me, and this price bracket and
quality of machine will last me a long, long time. I am glad I spent
the money on a good machine and didn't have to return a cheap one to
the store.

Jiffy Steamer J-2 Garment Clothes Steamer.
i
am fashion photographer and do a lot of my own production so the
steamer is the first and only item i pack when on location with a
clothes rack no less .
fantastic item and last for ever , the other two i have wore stolen be my wife and mother in law .

Buying Brother PC-210 PRW Limited Edition Project Runway Sewing Machine
I
bought this machine a couple of weeks ago. It is an upgrade for me from
a VERY basic Brother machine. I bought mine at a sewing machine store;
actually cheaper than Amazon and I get their expertise/service.
One
major feature I was looking for in my new machine is speed control. I
am teaching my daughter to sew; this machine can be set to sew very
very ssssslllloooww. Great when trying to teach a nine year old.
Threading is pretty simple; there is a nifty automatic needle threader.
I'm using it but threading a machine needle was never a big deal for
me. I also like the automatic needle up feature. On every machine I
ever used previously, I had to turn the wheel when done sewing a line
to raise the needle. This machine does it automatically.
This
Brother makes a very nice buttonhole; not as nice perhaps as a machine
twice its price but still, just fine. It has this neat buttonhole foot
in which you put your desired button in the back and it uses that
button to automatically make the proper sized buttonhole. All in one
step. This is WAY better than my old machine.
The bobbin is a top-drop-in. No more bringing up the loop, just put in in and sew.
One
feature I've yet to use is a front stop/go control button. I guess that
if you didn't want to or couldn't use a foot pedal you could use this
button instead. I can see it being nice for buttonholes; you just
position your fabric, push the "go" button, and it makes all the side
of the buttonhole and stops automatically.
This machine trys to
make things oops-proof. If you've ever jambed your machine because you
started sewing with the presser foot up, well, that can't happen with
this machine. If things aren't "right", it will give you an error beep.
Another nice feature is that the machine automatically sets an
"ideal" stitch length/width. You can overide it but for the most part,
the defalt is perfect, especially with the decorative stitches.
There
are several decorative stiches; I haven't quite figured out the best
way to put them to use but that's just my own lack of creativity.
One
last nice feature is a built-in foot holder. In front of the free-arm
is a flip-down compartment that has molded, labeled spots for all your
feet. It comes with a standard foot, zipper foot, blind hem stitch
foot, decorative stitching foot, overlock foot, button attacher foot,
and buttonhole foot. Also in the compartment is a molded space for a
seam ripper and 4 bobbins (included). I've found it nice to have all
these feet in one spot. I have a couple specialty feet from my old
Brother machine and they fit and work just fine on my new one. An added
plus.
One note; this machine takes bobbins that are a bit
thicker than older ones. Buy a bunch of new ones; they say old ones
won't work.
All in all, I'm very happy. I'm glad I went with this model and would buy again.

to add: my one gripe about this machine is that the built in lights are
lacking. My old machine put out quite a lot of light; this one is MUCH
dimmer.

WoW!!!!
Nice machine. I am a beginner sewer, but even with all of its
computerized features, I was able to figure it all out by following
along in the manual. I've work on simple machines in sewing classes,
but this was my first purchase for home. I knew it was a risk, making
this kind of investment for my first machine, but I am glad I did.
Working with the simple machines in class was good for practice and
learning, but I feel like had I purchased a simple machine, I would
have quickly outgrown it. This machine is simple enough to do a quick
easy project, and advanced enough that I can continue to grow and
learn.
The embroidery feature is AWSOME. I had no experience,
no instruction, and was able to figure it out with the manual and just
a little practice. I can't imagine going without it now. I've put my
children's names on blankets, and monogramed purses and towels. LOVE it.
